Doxa Youth Complex in Malmsbury was designed to provide low cost holidays to underprivileged children. Over 40 000 children have had the opportunity to stay at the facility. Surrounded on three sides by the Loddon River, located on Crown Land, the Doxa Youth Complex is in the heart of bushland. The special sleeping huts, accommodating 4 persons downstairs and 4 persons upstairs in all 64 beds, came about  due to the requirements to avoid dormitory style accommodation. Special materials and colours were chosen to blend in the the forest location.

Associated facilities include a managers residence, gymnasium, kitchen and dining room, resource learning centre and observatory. Two extensions have been consistent with the original designs carried out by McManus Architects and Consultants.
