Located on the Strand Williamstown, the building gave the appearance of flats. The brief was major internal changes, with related external modifications, to bring the house up to modern living requirements.
Being located in a prominent corner
block, the house was viewed from three sides. The design philosophy was
to give the building a nautical look via curved balconies.
Extensive use was made of steel to achieve this design.
